Crider v. Merryhill Schools and Nobel Learning Communities; Sacramento County Superior Court

We represented the family of a young girl caused a traumatic brain injury while in the care of Merryhill Schools. The defendants contended that the serious seizure disorder which started two months after her injury at their school was not caused by that injury but was the result of her extremely premature birth. The defendants settled the case on the third day of trial. We were able to obtain a structured settlement for our client worth more than $8 Million.

Kwong v. Sacramento Rapid Transit District; Sacramento Superior Court

We represented the family of a 24 year old woman killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in was struck by a light rail train. Although both the defendants and the California Highway Patrol placed blame for the accident on the driver of the car, the case was settled by the Sacramento Regional Transit and other defendants on the first day of trial. The total settlement for all plaintiffs injured in the accident, including our client, was in excess of $8 Million cash.

Williams v. Bryant; Sacramento County Superior Court

We represented a young woman struck by a van while riding her bicycle to work. Our client sustained arm and back fractures. The case was settled within seven months of the accident for $2 Million cash.

Davies v. Lucky Stores; Sacramento County Superior Court

We represented a client who slipped and fell outside a Lucky's grocery store. He fell hand first into broken glass and sustained severe lacerations to his hand. Settlement was reached pre-trial for $840,000 cash.

West v. Doe; Sacramento County Superior Court

We represented a young man involved in a serious motor vehicle accident who sustained multiple injuries. The matter was submitted to binding arbitration which resulted in an award in excess of $850,000 cash.

Richards v. River City Erectors; Sacramento County Superior Court

We represented a man involved in a motor vehicle accident which caused a neck injury which necessitated neck surgery. The case was settled pre-trial for $675,000 cash.

Higgins v. Doe Doctor; Butte County Superior Court

We undertook the representation of a young woman in a medical malpractice action after she had been turned away by every attorney she approached rejected her case. She filed suit on her own behalf and was on the eve of the Butte County Superior Court dismissing her case when we undertook her representation. Settlement reached on the eve of trial had a cash and structured value approaching $1 Million.

Peterson v. Norcal, Placer County Superior Court

We represented a young man who walked beneath a trash dumpster while it was being lowered. He sustained a low back fracture. The case was settled for $475,000
